Glitch logo intro.
Torn frames and RGB split cut your logo onto the screen. After it lands, two short glitches hit, and every export comes out exactly the same.

How the glitch intro works
Instead of a smooth entrance, this look cuts your logo in with torn frames and red, green and blue channels pulled apart, like a broken video signal. Once the logo has landed it stays readable, with two short glitches afterwards to keep it alive.
The glitches are not random: render the same settings again next week and you get the identical clip, which keeps your intro consistent from video to video.
Dialling in the distortion
- Distortion is the intensity slider for this look. Higher pushes the tears and colour split further; lower keeps the glitch subtle.
- Primary colour: a strong single colour, such as the default red or an electric blue, keeps the logo bold between glitches.
- Background: near-black keeps the colour split crisp.
- Reveal speed: faster suits a hard, quick cut-in; slower lets viewers see the tears.
Where a glitch intro fits
Glitch works as a short sting before gaming clips, tech reviews or music. Pick 4 seconds for a quick hit or 6 seconds to give the after-glitches room. Use 9:16 for Shorts and TikTok, 16:9 for YouTube and Twitch, and add Bright whoosh for a sharper cut.
On Pro, batch export renders several ratios and sizes into one ZIP, so the vertical and widescreen versions come out together. More gaming ideas are on the gaming intro page.
Glitch Logo Intro: questions
Is the glitch different every time?
No. The glitch is identical on every export, so re-rendering with the same settings gives the same clip.
Can I make it less intense?
Yes. Lower the Distortion slider for a subtler glitch, or raise it for heavier tears and colour split.
Does the logo stay readable?
Yes. The glitch is strongest while the logo cuts in. After it lands it holds steady, apart from two short glitches.
